Benjamin Winschel

Ben Winschel, Project Manager, Job Captain, is an established expert in preparing graphic presentations to communicate design intent to clients. His multi-faceted graphics skills include Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and other BIM and design technologies. Building science and envelope design, construction administration, CNC laser cutting, hand drafting and rendering, and model making are also part of his skill set.

Ben was the first mentee to complete the ACE Mentor Program of Maine at the local Portland affiliate back in 2010. Since then he has chosen to pursue a career in architecture and is currently both the Team Lead/Mentor for Portland and an active board member for the Portland affiliate.

Cooking and baking are two of Ben’s favorite things to do. He has a vegetable garden that he grows every year, and he loves using the fresh veggies and herbs to cook. He is also an avid hiker and biker, plays guitar, travels as often as he can, and loves spending time with family and friends.
