Suzanne Morin, CID, NCIDQ

Suzanne Morin, CID, NCIDQ, Interior Designer, was the first staff person hired by CHA Architecture (then Portland Design Team) and has worked for the office for 31 years. In total, Suzanne has more than 40 years of experience as an interior designer on projects involving municipal buildings, banks, educational institutions, and healthcare structures. Suzanne combines a deep understanding of the design of public interior spaces with a wealth of practical knowledge of finishes and furnishings. She is a master of programming and space planning, procuring furniture, and selecting materials for interior design.

Suzanne is a member of the First Congregational Church, where she serves as a deacon and sings in the choir. She plays the flute as a soloist at her church, the United Baptist Church in Saco, Maine. She also sings Alto 2 in the Portland Community Chorus.

Suzanne and her husband have five grandchildren and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They love musical theater and are season ticket holders to the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut and the Brunswick Music Theater in Maine. They have also been to many musical shows in New York City and London, England. When not catching a show, Suzanne likes to garden and swim in the ocean.
